PRACTICE DAYS

Tiger Kart Club is in the unique position of having 2 different tracks available for practice – a luxury no other club can give you in Australia.

Practice is available at the times indicated below, subject to a volunteer Grade 5 or higher Official being available to run and manage practice safely and in a controlled manner.

Both tracks have commercial contracts in place between Tiger Kart Club and Mega Fast Karts (hire karts) in which both parties have exclusive access and agreed times throughout the week.

PRACTICE Rules

Safety always comes first!

Just like racing, practice is considered a controlled karting activity. All safety requirements and rules always apply regardless if there is 1 kart or 30 karts on the track. Safety is everyone’s responsibility.

Registering for practice is mandatory. No exceptions.

Whether you are a member or non-member, every driver that wishes to practice must register using KOMP before placing a kart on the grid. This mandatory requirement forms part of our insurance and safety obligations.

You must also announce yourself to the Karting Activity Controller (KAC) on duty and sign the practice log book. The KAC will provide you with a coloured wrist band for the day – this makes it easy for the KAC to identify you as a properly registered driver.

Please assist the KAC by being pro-active and following these steps to help ensure a safe, fun and respectful environment for everyone to enjoy.

Remember – our KAC’s are volunteers. They don’t get paid to host you. Please be respectful.

Refer to the Tiger Kart Club Facebook page for announcements on additional practice sessions and times.
